SNOW!

We got a cold night (12 below) in Flagstaff, Arizona but weren't complaining! Kids were delighted to play in the fresh powdery snow despite it being so cold. Beau said this could be the'white Christmas' we had planned but didn't have. However after 24 hours in the cold it was time to move on to warmth again that we are so used to so we drove west to California again. Now it really feels like we're coming home as we hit the west coast again and see road signs for Los Angeles. We had a night in the uninspiring but convenient town of Barstow en route to Death Valley.
