One of our highlights in France was dining at 'Chez Jeannes' near Frayssinet-le-Gelat. The cafe had been recommended to us by Australian 'locals' as a non pretencious truck driver style place but with great food. The cafe is also the focus of Mary Moody's latest book so we just had to go! We weren't disappointed. We had a 5 course set menu and it cost us about $80 NZ for 5 of us including all the red wine we could drink. The cafe has been in the same family for over 100 years.
